(not a posed picture, its an spontaneous instinctive shot)
my sincere thanks to all for your kind words, esp ravinss and diamondie. this picture was taken in the edge of northern thailand (maesai). i was walking around holding a dslr looking like a tourist. this child was playing with other kids, somersaulting off a bridge (top left in the background) and i tried to shoot them in action (didn't get a good shot). they saw me, ran over and asked for some change. quite a common "10 baht?" expression in those areas...

This is really an amazing shot, I can see it winning a famous photography prize and being published as the front cover of some magazine. I can't really comment on it sensibly because it's all about the emotion it conveys, but the technical side appears excellent as well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
